Cute Pumpkin Box

I made this cute little pumpkin box a few weeks ago for my mom's birthday.  I used my Cricut Expression 2 and my Gypsy to weld and cut the mouth.  I "toadily" scraplifted this idea from Sharon.  Thanks!  I filled the bag with a candy corn mix. Yummy and cute :)

Cricut Fabric Cover

I also recently made a fabric cover for my cricut.  I had seen some really cute ones online, but just knew that I could figure it out myself and not pay someone else!  So, I started my making a paper template over my cricut and measuring the sides and around the outside.  I then traced my templates onto my fabric, cut and sewed the sides/middle together.  Before I sewed it together I added the pink ribbon so that the ends would be sewn into the seams.

After I was done, I found these great tutorials on making ribbon flowers.  Simple and lots of fun to make.  I made 3 of the ribbon flowers with different sizes and lengths of  ribbon.  I then stitched them together in the middle and sewed them to my cover.  I added two satin buttons I found at Wal-mart for a little extra touch.

Love it!

Chore Chart

I made this fun little chore chart several weeks ago, but didn't have a blog to share my creations. :)  So I'll share with you now.

I made this for my little one as we begin to teach small responsibility.  It was fairly easy to make.  I bought a cheap cookie sheet, used some Bella Blvd super cute Mr. Boy paper, my Cricut chore chart cartridge and sticky strip(terrifically tacky tape).  Love that tape.  I also used adhesive backed magnets and clear round epoxy stickers.  Oooh, I love those things, so many great uses.

So here is my first attempt at a chore chart....
I also used some letter stickers from my stash.  I used the pictures and then made small labels under the pictures for when LO (little one) can read.  I also left space to add more chores as LO gets older.

We've used it some, quite a bit at first, but my sweet little one kept pulling the chart off the fridge.  I had lots of magnets on the back to hold it to the fridge.  Now it sits on our computer desk... I'll have to find a new place for it so that we can use it more often.  But I had fun making it, and LO really likes the magnets!

Welcome to my Blog

Hello fine froggy friends!  I have always loved cute little frogs, so I thought this punny blog title would be great.  I also love to handmade lots of different crafts: paper crafts, cards, scrapbooking, stamping, sewing, creative gifts, etc.  I hope to blog about different crafts I have made.  Since I'm just getting started, I'll show you a few past creations I have made.  Hop along as I share-I know, bad joke... Enjoy!
